Altfrid Fighter: Ten year Ring anniversary

The Altfrid Fighters are an honorary charity project. A central element in collecting donations for charitable initiatives and institutions of church youth work in the diocese of Essen is the participation in Rad am Ring. This year the group is taking part for the tenth time - with 80 riders in the 24-hour race, including young people from the sponsored institutions. The Altfrid Fighters have so far generated around 100,000 euros in donations through Ring cycling, more than 28,000 euros last year alone. A record - perhaps topped again this year?
