Rules at the Ring

Play fair, please

At Rad am Ring, we want to celebrate every aspect of cycling together for an entire weekend. To help make that possible for everyone, we kindly ask you to be considerate, follow a few simple rules, and behave in a fair way so that nobody else is disturbed or inconvenienced. 

Lot sizes:

This is especially important during the organizationally and athletically demanding 24-hour races. Being considerate already starts when setting up your lot. Since every lot is booked again in 2026, please make sure not to take space away from your neighbors and stay within the boundaries of your assigned lot. You can find the size of your lot HERE.

Noise levels:

Even if you are in the mood to celebrate, and rightly so, please do not set up oversized speaker systems that broadcast music across the entire area. Give others the opportunity to recover and rest before their next lap around the Ring. 

Waste and cheering graffiti:

This is probably common sense, but it is worth stating again. Please dispose of all waste in the designated trash containers or in your own garbage bags. We need to collect anything left behind after the event, which creates additional work and, in the long term, additional costs for everyone. Even worse, it could jeopardize the whole event being hosted at the Nürburgring. 

The course itself also needs to remain clean. Please do not paint or write on the track. As the organizers, we are held financially responsible for anything left behind once the event is over. 

Barbecues:

Grilling over an open flame is prohibited. Do not dump hot charcoal to cool down. It is summertime, and dry conditions significantly increase the risk of fire. 

Advertising and video recording:

There are regulations regarding sponsor and advertising banners at your lot as well as video recordings. We have summarized these requirements for you HERE.

Temporary structures and large tents:

Please observe the regulations regarding tent sizes and so-called temporary structures. You will find the detailed requirements HERE.
