The cycling race “Rund um Köln” is almost legendary. Of course, we didn’t want to miss out on it. Although only two of our registered team members could participate due to illness at the second stop of the 2024 Team Rad am Ring season, they gave it their all in dry weather: Alexander Meinero, competing for our team for the first time, finished in the upper midfield on the 130-km course with an average speed of 34.29 km/h. Andreas Klihm also placed in the upper midfield with a speed of 35.75 km/h on the 70-km course.
Off the racetrack, we were furthermore present at the Bike Expo area. At our joint stand with our partner Dextro Energy, we answered cycling fans’ questions about Rad am Ring, discussed the best hobby in the world, and rounded off the day with a cold drink.
